WREP is an NGO with Special Consultative Status of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.
Mrs. Violet Ohigbu Ocheikwu – Programme Manager
Violet is a graduate of Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She has experience in project management, fundraising, research and office administration. She has skills in Gender, Advocacy, Gender Based Violence. She is also a writer. She has written and published articles on Women’s Human Rights and conflict situations. She is highly principled and believes that hard work and resilience form the ladder for success. Violet is a prolific reader, loves driving, meeting people. Violet’s goal is to advance to a strong decision making position of policy making and implementation that would bring respite to the minority in the society.
Ms Jande, Doom Mavis – Programme Officer
Doom hails from Melabu, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. She holds a degree in B.Sc Chemistry from the Benue State University Makurdi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. She believes so much in selflessness, thus her interest to participate in Community Development activities.
Doom works very hard in order to achieve set goals and obtain desired results.She enjoys learning, reading, carrying out research work and travelling in order to discover new things all the time.
Ibrahim Sule -
Sule Ibrahim Abwage holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University
of Maiduguri, Borno state, Nigeria and is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of
the organisation. He is a goal-
As a result of his love for humanity, he became part of the Incident Report Officers
at the 2015 general elections under the auspices of Women Situation Room organized
by Nigerian Women’s Platform for Peaceful Elections in collaboration with UN Women.
He has undergone various trainings in Programme Management, Financial Management,
Monitoring and Evaluation, Policy Advocacy, Conflict Management and also training
for Domestic Election Observers. He is a graduate of the Nigerian Institute on Management.

Gbabe Joseph Gwaza -
Gbabe Joseph Gwaza obtained Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc) in Chemistry Education from Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi. He also has a professional Certificate in Project Management from Skillsedge Consulting Ltd, Abuja. He participated in the 2015 general elections as an Incident Report Officer on the platform Women Situation Room tagged “Peace is in Our Hands”, organized by Nigerian Women’s Platform for Peaceful Elections in Collaboration with UN Women. He also fully participated in Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Training (Beautification) in Farming Skills Centre, Yola Adamawa State. Icheen Desire Awashima hails from Kwande LGA of Benue State and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication. She has interpersonal skills; she is friendly, hardworking and dedicated to duty.
Her skills includes policy analysis, Civil Society, Capacity Building, development work with strong compassion for the needy and less privileged which is why she has sought an opportunity to give back to her community through the organisation. Her hobbies include reading, research, sporting activities and meeting new friends.
